Get Involved
Helping Young People Excel (HYPE) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has partnered with churches in the Arlington, Rosemark, Millington and Munford areas as a Community Outreach Scholarship Program. Each church that joins with H.Y.P.E. can have one high school graduate receive a new laptop (one laptop per church).

And give a heartfelt thank you to Commissioners Amber Mills and Terry Roland for their unwavering support by awarding the state grants that made our mission possible. It is without a doubt that their partnership with HYPE allowed this program to take root in the community.

HYPE's collaboration with Rev. Cary Vaughn and the HARE committee allow HYPE more visibility and outreach to achieve its mission to bring community awareness about the importance of furthering the education of our youth.

With great sadness, on May 15, 2026, we were informed of the passing of Judge Jon McCalla. The judge and his late wife Mary were both friends' and generous supporters of HYPE. They will be greatly missed and condolences to McCalla the family.
